Modification Aflatoxin B1 in maize : changes in risk classification and history of analysis results

Following the recent evaluation of the aflatoxin results received in the past months, the document has been adjusted as follows:

  • The risk classification for Slovakia changes from ‘Low' to ‘Medium’;
  • The risk classification for Romania changes from ‘Low' to ‘Medium’;
  • The risk classification for Hungary changes from ‘Low' to ‘Medium’;

These modifications must be applied as from 17/09/2019.

The periodic assessment is based on the received analysis results, which FCA certified companies are required to submit, and on analysis results from other feed certification schemes, and also on RASFF-notifications relating to Aflatoxin B1 in maize.

In addition, the table containing the risk classifications has been moved from document BT-16 to its own document. You'll find it on the website under BT-16. A second new document contains the recent history of the risk classification per country.

This document is available on our website. The changes are marked in grey text. The documents are also consultable in a version without indicated changes.
