OVOCOM quality management fully complies with NZO requirements

The Dutch dairy industry (NZO) has, since January 1st, 2016, further tightened the quality assurance of animal feed within the Netherlands. From that date onwards, only companies listed on the so-called "white list" are allowed to supply feed to Dutch dairy farmers. One of the requirements to appear on this list is the application of a quality management system that meets the requirements of NZO.

In response to this requirement, OVOCOM has, in addition to the Feed Chain Alliance Standard, developed a specific module, intended for FCA certified companies wishing to supply Dutch dairy farmers, namely ‘Module I-01: Direct delivery to Dutch dairy farmers’. An independent audit of OVOCOM, commissioned by NZO, has been carried out on December 9th, 2016. The conclusion: the OVOCOM quality management system complies fully with the requirements of the Dutch dairy industry.

This means that animal feed companies who apply module I-01 fully meet the requirements NZO imposes on all feed suppliers of Dutch dairy farmers.

From January 1st, 2017 onwards, FCA certified companies using module I-01 can sign up for a listing on the NZO white list. All necessary documents are available on our website. Of course, you can also always contact us via info@ovocom.be.
