Modification Aflatoxin B1 in maize: change in risk classification + document with history

Following the recent evaluation of the aflatoxin results received in the past months, the document has been adjusted as follows:

  • The risk classification for Hungary changes from ‘Low’ to ‘Medium;
  • The risk classification for Serbia changes from ‘Low’ to ‘Medium;
  • The risk classification for Ukraine changes from ‘Low’ to ‘Medium;

These modifications must be applied as from 20/09/2021.

This periodic evaluation takes place on the basis of the received analysis results that the FCA-certified companies have to forward, on the basis of analysis results available within other feed-certification schemes and depending on the RASFF overview of aflatoxin B1 in maize.

In addition, the table with the risk classification was removed from the document. From now on, the table can be consulted on the website in a separate document (under BT-16). In a second separate document, you can also consult the history of the risk classification per country.

Both documents are available on our website. The changes in this document are marked in grey text. The documents are also consultable in a version version without indicated changes.
